In the state of Florida, the law requires all vehicle owners to register their vehicle with a minimum insurance coverage. This insurance must include the following basic coverage:

BIL covers medical costs and other damages resulting from injuries caused to others in an accident for which the insured is responsible.
- Suggested Minimum Amount: $10,000 per person and $20,000 per accident.
- What It Covers: Medical bills, legal expenses if a lawsuit is filed, and other costs related to injuries sustained by others.
